Choosing bracelet size
When choosing a bracelet, it's important to measure your wrist accurately to ensure a comfortable fit. Here’s some advice to help you measure your wrist and select the right bracelet length:
How to Measure Your Wrist
1. Use a Soft Measuring Tape: A soft, flexible measuring tape (the kind used for sewing) is the most accurate. If you don’t have one, you can use a string or a piece of paper and then measure the length with a ruler.
2. Measure the Circumference of Your Wrist:
- Wrap the measuring tape around your wrist, just above the wrist bone (where the bracelet would sit).
- Make sure the tape is snug but not tight.
- Take the measurement in inches or centimetres (whichever unit the bracelet is sized in).
3. Double-Check the Measurement: Make sure you get a precise measurement. If you are using a string or paper, make sure to mark where it overlaps and then measure the length with a ruler.
How to Choose the Correct Bracelet Length
Once you’ve measured your wrist, you can choose the right bracelet length by considering your desired fit. Generally, it's good to add some length to your wrist measurement for comfort.
- Regular Chain Bracelets and Bangles: Add 0.5-1 inch to your wrist measurement.
- Chunky Chain Link Bracelets: Add 1-1.5 inches to your wrist measurement.
